In the testing of a game you will find there is risks like if the target audience that the game is aimed for 
does not suit them. Sometimes the game could be missing the excitement , so the people do not like it.
Others thing the game could be lacking is if it is not fast paced, competitive or even if its not stand out compared to other games. The features aren't able to work, so broken features, poor sound etc.

will be required.

Ad Hoc testing is considered to be the general way of testing. There is no process to the testing and it can happen at any stage of the creation of the game. The tests are not documented or mapped out. 
They happen just at random. There are three different types of Ad Hoc testing Pair Testing, Buddy 
Testing and Monkey Testing.

Compatibility Testing is used to test if the game functions properly and if the graphics are working. They test if the software and hardware meet the standard. They test if the game can work on multiple devices such as mobile phones and tablets etc.





Clean Room And Tree Testing 

This type of testing is to test the games reliability and consistency of the game and to see if the game
software runs well. an aim of this type of test is to try come out of a game that has no errors to the software and it runs smoothly. This test also helps know which code to use for the game and not what 
to use for the game.
